Under Spanish law, all public areas in Spain are nudist! This includes all beaches, parks, streets, squares, forests, rivers and national parks.
Although you are allowed to go naked in any public areas (this excludes private areas such as shops, bars, cafés, hotels etc.,) most people respect the wishes of the majority, and only go naked in designated nudist areas.
Along the Costa Brava there are dozens of beaches which are designated as Nudist, some of these are heterosexual, some are predominantly gay beaches.

Cala de las Mulas (Las Mulas bay)
Playa Cal Blanque (Cal Blanque beach), in the Natural Park of Los Belones, near to the Cape of Palos.
Cala Reona y otras (Reona bay and others), at Cape of Palos, to the northeast of Cartagena.

located off the highway between Benidorm and Vila Joiosa
at Finestrat, and next to
Costa Blanca Casino. The only access that you can find is a path.
Cala del Ti Ximo (Ti Ximo bay);
behind the Rincón de Loix (Corner of Loix). At the North West end of Playa Levante, a 10-15 minutes walk to the first bay beyond the Ricon de Loix headland. Use the short cut and walk along the pipeline, boxed in with concrete, just below the road.
There is another small bay further along which is nude & gay and also gay on the small paths around the small gorge that runs up from the bay towards the road & houses at the top.
Playa Poniente
La Cala area by the rocks at the end of beach is a nudist area.
Playa del Tusals (Del Tusals beach)
Playa de Tamarit (Tamarit Beach); signed. Illa (Island) of Tabarca, one of the further bays (calas) surrounding the main beach.

Playa del Saladar (Saladar beach). Cartagena's road.
Playa de L'Albufereta (L'Albufereta Beach), Cap de l'Horta - Cape Huertas.

Cala Cantalars (Cantalars bay), Cape Huertas.
Cabo de las Huertas (Cape of Orchids)
is the large headland north east of Alicante between Alicante and Platja de San Juan is Cabo de las Huertas a series of rocky small coves.
These are listed in order from Alicante to The lighthouse on the headland
The coves are all popular with nudists. Some of the coves are popular with gays.
Slowly buildings of Alicante suburbs are being built nearer and nearer to the coves.

Cala de la Barra (Bar's bay), in La Punta del Mascarat, Albir-Faro's road, south of Calp's bay; turn left after having travelled along the highway that indicates Pueblo Mascarat, before the tunnels on the main road between Altea and Calp.
Cala Cap Blanc (Cap Blanc bay), between the Port of Moraira and Calp-Calpe.
